2025 LOUISIANA HOUSING COUNCIL NAHRO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Child of Agency Staff or Child of Commissioner Program
Scholarships for child of staff or child of commissioner residing in the State of Louisiana. The applicant's family member must have worked for a housing agency during the student's entire senior year.
Applications are due to the LHC Scholarship Committee by March 7, 2025. No Exceptions.
LHC Scholarship Program
The Louisiana Housing Council NAHRO Annual Scholarship Program may award up to two, one-year scholarships to high school senior children of a Louisiana Housing Council (LHC) member agency staff person. The program is competitive and awards are based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. At the discretion of the judges, the consideration of family circumstances and financial need may be a factor in selection of the recipient. All scholarship funds with go directly to the student.
